Oh my word, talk about a comfort foods.  You guys, if it’s cold where you’re at, these recipes are for you.  But you know what?  If it’s warm where you’re at?  You should totally make them too!

The parsnips au gratin are, admittedly, an acquired taste – if you KNOW you don’t like parsnips then you probably won’t love these.  They taste like a buttery-sweet parsnips, and I could probably eat the whole pan in one sitting if left to myself.  Highly recommended!

The Caribbean jerk meatloaf?  YUM.  Sweet & spicy, with a little bit of love.  This is one that I really enjoy making when we’re going through one of our bouts of missing our island adventures.  It’s been too long!

And the breakfast biscuit pie?  I kind of want to crawl inside and eat my way out.  It’s small, but dense, so you can serve quite a few people with just one of these babies!  Maybe double the gravy recipe – you probably won’t want to share ;)
