Oh coffee. Nectar of the gods. One of the things I look forward to most in the mornings (other than waking up next to my hot husband and snuggling my cutiepatootie baby).

I mean really, it’s JUST.SO.GOOD.

When I worked at Starbucks we had a couple of customers and baristas alike who would try and cheat the system by ordering grande coffee in a venti cup and filling it the rest of the way up with milk – to achieve a latte effect that, let’s face it, is really nothing like a latte. But what I never got was why on earth they were drinking coffee that was practically coffee-flavored milk. I’m told I can be a snob about these things. Not that it shows, right?

Anyway, since then I’ve come to understand that sometimes people just want their coffee the way they want it. What a concept! Coffee is one of those things that literally takes on a different personality for every person. It’s like the fingerprint of the beverage world – no two cups of coffee are ever going to be just alike. When I’m not getting my coffee on the go, I’m making it at home, and I always do a packet of Stevia in the Raw and just enough International Delight Coldstone Creamery Sweet Cream creamer to reach ?the color?. You guys know what I’m talking about – ?the color?that your coffee turns that signifies that you’ve added just the right amount of cream to make it perfect.
